Filippo
Ugolini has given a speech at the Genova
Science Festival together with the Italian
Astronaut Franco Malerba and the Director
of Marketing for ESA, Ing. Maurizio Belingheri.
The Conference is the first public presentation
of the European Space Station (ESA) initiative
for the dissemination to the Private Industries
of the Industrial Space Station (ISS)
Services and Resources in the Health,
Food and Nutrition through the use of
an ESA Commercial Agent Network. AGT has
won the European Tender joining the ISS-LabRuhr
(Germany), head of the Joint Venture,
EMBL EM GmbH (Germany) and MEDES (French
Institute for Space Medicine and Physiology).

Five
European Companies and Institutions, including
AGT, have held the kick-off meeting of
the European Project FEMAG in the offices
of Innova, downtown Rome. FEMAG (Flexible
Ecological Multipurpose Advanced Generator)
is an innovative concept developed by
AGT to optimize the resources of a hydrogen
driven Fuel Cell power generator for application
on small vehicles like wheelchairs, industrial
robots, etc. FEMAG will be financed over
2005-2006 by the European Union. The AGT
partners in the FEMAG project include
the Dept of Energy of the University of
Rome Tor Vergata, the Technical University
of GRAZ, the Italian Companies Labor and
Innova, the German Companies Molecular
Networks and Enertron, the Polish Company
Szwed, the Dept of Rehabilitation of the
Hospital S.Spirito of Roma.
